Booking their wedding photography
Ian and Sam came to meet me at my Oakham Studio on Deanīs Street to view some wedding samples and to talk about their requirements for their special day. They were delighted with what I could offer them as part of a collection. The couple also shared with me their troubles of getting invitations made to send to family and friends. I was able to help,and designed an invitation card to suit their needs. The design was then emailed to Sam and Ian for approval. I received the invitations back within the week and the bride and groom were delighted that they had personalised invitations ready to send off for their big day.
The Wedding Day
On the day I met the Bride in the Bridal suite at the Haycock Hotel to capture the excitement and preparations between the bride and her bridesmaids for the big day. Shortly after, I met the groom and groomsmen at the bar, where we had arranged to meet previously, whilst they had a 'quick half'!
The Groom and groomsmen made their way to the civil ceremony room whilst I waited for the Bride and her father to arrive.
The civil ceremony is the most important part of the day and this is why I want to capture every special moment, from the vowels, exchanging of the rings, that all important first kiss and signing the register.
After the Civil Ceremony Photographs
The formal photographs that were requested by the bride and groom were photographed in the Private Gardens of the Ballroom at the Haycock Hotel. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and provide an amazing backdrop for the group photographs. After the formal photographs, the bride, groom and I snuck off to the river at the bottom of the gardens to capture some intimate and relaxed photographs of themselves enjoying the company of each other on such a special day.
After their wedding day
The wedding photographs were added to my website for the bride and groom and all the guests to enjoy. The options on the website ensure that everyone could view the photographs in colour, black and white and also sepia and ordering the photographs online is available to all guests.
