Their wedding day
I started the day at Lucy's mothers house during her final preparations - her stunning wedding flowers arrived and I captured photographs of the bride and her very excited bridesmaids! I met the groom, Michael at Don Paddy's in Uppingham. The groom and his ushers were having a 'quick' pint before heading up to Rockingham Castle. I captured some photographs in Uppingham and also at Rockingham before heading to the ceremony room at Rockingham Castle.
Lucy arrived at Rockingham Castle and braved a tiny little spot of rain whilst entering the Great Hall for their civil ceremony. Afterwards, the guests gathered on the lawn at Rockingham Castle for some drinks whilst we took some informal group photographs chosen by the bride and groom.
Their reception was held in a stunning marquee on the lawn of Rockingham Castle, with the most beautiful views. I took the bride and groom to explore the grounds and gardens and we took some photographs of them spending some quality time together. Gladstone Carriages had two beautiful cars at Rockingham for Lucy and Michael, which were fantastic to photograph outside of the castle.
After Lucy and Michael returned from their honeymoon they came to the studio in Oakham to view and pick their wedding album. They have picked a gorgeous handmade ivory album. They will certainly enjoy showing it off to anyone they bump in to!
